Allstate Insurance – Fraud / Premium Too High – I purchased homeowners insurance with Allstate in 2009 and each and every year since then, it has gone up. My house payment has gone up with that in 2010, my homeowners insurance went up $179.71 and then I got a letter in mail saying that there was a processing error for 2010 through 2011, that my insurance has gone down and they made a mistake, so they sent me a small check for $27.00. Then this week, I got a renewal letter saying my insurance is going back up for 2012 to 2013. I can’t even understand how Allstate can get away with doing this. I’m new to home buying, this is my first house and I got a big surprise the year after I purchased my home. Not only did my insurance go up, but my taxes on my house went up and I didn’t even realize it, so I ended up owing all this money on my escrow. My house payment went way up

State Farm Insurance

State Farm Insurance – Canceling me after 42 years of being a faithful customer – I have had State Farm for 42 years…..had some weather damage a few years ago and most recently, some water damage from dishwasher and refrigerator….all uncontrolled claims….I have installed battery backup for the sump pump and installed a monitored water, fire, burglar, and freeze alarm to help control the uncontrolled…..State Farm said that I have run into a period of bad luck so are canceling my homeowners insurance….in their defense, they have paid to repair all of the damages to my home, but canceling me after 42 years of being a faithful customer???

American Residential Warranty – Failure to cancel account – We wanted the account cancelled out and was not informed that we needed to send in a cancellation letter. We also never received any of the information from them. They said that it was sent by the post office but we never received any of the information. We wanted to speak to a manager on 12/18/2013 and the person refused to let us talk to a manager. Called back and asked to speak to a manager and they said that they would send a message to the manager and was told that we would receive a call back when they felt like it. They cancelled our service a few months ago due to non payment and yet they continued taking money out of our account and yet when we talked to them about it they said that they had no record of it yet they had sent us a letter saying that it was cancelled out due to non payment. Yet when we tried cancelling it we were told that it would be cancelled and yet they did not put it into the records and they said that they could not find anything saying so. When we asked about getting a refund for a payment that went through our bank on 12/18/2013 they refused to do so. When we found out that it was in force at beginning of December we tried to get them to pay for a plumbing issue and they said that they would not cover it because it was not in the contract. Everyone that we have talked to with the company come across and being inconsiderate and unwilling to cooperate with the customer especially when trying to get things resolved.
